Book Review #5: “Romeo & Juliet” by Shakespeare

Hello, everybody! Minah here~! 😉 🙂 😀 *smiles & waves hello* I have a BRAND-NEW book review to share with you all today!! YAY~!!! 🙂 😀 *smiles excitedly* Today, I am going to do a book review on the AMAZING book/play, “Romeo & Juliet” by the FAMOUS English playwright, William Shakespeare! 🙂 *smiles* Recently, I’ve been reading this book in my Honors English class (in school), and it’s been SPECTACULAR~!! 🙂 😀 *smiles happily* I loved this book SO much, that I wanted to share it with ALL of you~! 🙂 *smiles again* Anyway, let’s get started on this book review, shall we?

Book Review #5
“Romeo & Juliet” by Shakespeare

Book-Review-5

This book was AMAZING, UNIQUE, BRILLIANT, and VERY interesting!! 🙂 *smiles* I REALLY enjoyed reading “Romeo & Juliet!” 🙂 😀 *smiles happily* It was an absolutely FANTASTIC book~!

I read the SparkNotes version (“No Fear Shakespeare”) in my 9th grade Honors English class. I REALLY enjoyed the SparkNotes version, because it contains the ORIGINAL text as well as the MODERN, translated text. 🙂 *smiles* Having BOTH versions REALLY helped me understand what was going on! 🙂 😀 *smiles happily*

Romeo & JulietThere were 5 separate acts (somewhat like chapters), as well as scenes in this book. Personally, if I HAD to choose a FAVORITE act and/or scene, I would choose… Hmmm… :/ *thinking face* I would choose Scene #2 of Act #2. Why, you might ask? Well, scene #2 of act #2 is one of the MOST POPULAR scenes in this ENTIRE play, because this scene is the one-and-only… DRUMROLL PLEASE~!!! *drumroll sounds* “Balcony scene!!” YAY~!!! 🙂 😀 *smiles happily* The “balcony scene” is when Romeo sees Juliet on her balcony, and they talk to each other.

If you have a chance to read this book, I HIGHLY suggest that you read it (ESPECIALLY the SparkNotes version)~! 🙂 *smiles, hoping that a TON of people will read this book* “Romeo & Juliet” was SUCH a SPECTACULAR play/book! 🙂 *smiles again* After reading this book, I’m EXTREMELY eager to read MORE books/plays, written by William Shakespeare~! 😀 *excited face* I can’t WAIT~!!

I REALLY hope that you ALL have enjoyed this book review~! 😉 *hopeful face* Now, for my rating of this book:

I rate this book…
5 out of 5 stars~!
